Although team virtuousness evaluates coworker interrelations, the available literature lacks a comprehensive tool for characterizing this structure, one grounded in a comprehensive theoretical foundation. A comprehensive metric for team virtuousness, drawing from Aquinas's Virtue Ethics framework, was developed in this study to capture its underlying architecture. The subjects under consideration included nursing unit staff and MBA students. In a research study of MBA students, a total of 114 items were utilized and implemented. By randomly dividing the dataset into halves, exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were performed. Analyses led to the subsequent distribution of 33 items to the nursing unit staff. The data were randomly divided, and both EFA and CFA analyses were conducted on each half; the CFA results confirmed the EFA findings. A total of 18 focus groups were held at nine acute care hospitals, each composed of registered nurses specializing in either intensive care, telemetry, or medical-surgical units. Codes and themes emerged from a thematic analysis of the focus group transcripts. Staffing, a significant source of disorder, encapsulated the widespread perception of nurses' struggles during the early stages of the pandemic.
